hey there mh2.... awww shucks... :)

say, there's been some no-need-neebee days, on occasions, for some folks that i run into...in my life... hahahaha, as with us all...

seems sometimes i seem to nice to be true, or so they say...

other times, i just talk too much :)
kind of like a happy puppy dog... oh my...

but---you know... that is why it feels so good to be around friends, and get the boost to the ol' spirit, when one is near on empty, at times...

once again, thanks all... my leg has had a pinced sciatic nerve from crawling into the low cat cages, and it had been like 2 weeks not working, and i dont even know if i will be able to go back to my job, as it will start all over again... (folks dont always appreciat me as a worker, as i am not a "fast" as they like)

so i am soaking up this thread right now.. and you all have really MADE my day (or, weeks, as it may be)...

god bless to one and all...

EDIT: for the two post under mine:
say, thanks hankster and drljefe:
for the PAIN advice... (is more the leg and not the back) (hope you see that i thanked you both, as i did not want to have to bump this again, and be a shameless self-bumper kind of gal).... :)

hey there, say, you all.... you must have an hound-dog nose, you all.... seems when i run into a few down days (not that i have too many mind you, but it just seems that this last end of winter has kind of gone all wrong)

well, you all seems to have a bump here for me.... :)

thanks for your supertopo sunshining rays of friendship...

say, hankster :) .... hhmmm, not sure, but, i think ol' dirt get the credit for his cancer colon warnings, as he sure knows how the cancer hurts...

but---your sure got a good eye, on health issues, as, i sure enough am the ol' head injury awareness gal... it all started back when my stepgrandbabe started having seizures:

i WILL NEVER forget what i saw her poor little body go through, or how she was so wiped out and helpless after it...

so, as the joy that comes my way, makes me thankful, i keep pressing on to help others see that joy---from loyal friendships---is one of the main KEYS TO GETTING FOLKS THROUGH head injuries, or any other kind of injury for that matter....

and seizures can make many a friend leave a friendship, due to fear.... so i keep sharing awareness and how to help folks by sharing on being a good buddy...

say, hankster, say, thanks a lot for you, and the all you other here, for this bump:

there are so many to list, so i will just say:
thanks guys, and you are very speical uique folks, all part of our "quiltwork" here.... annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd:

"what a quilt you all are!"
god bless to you all...

ps:
and remember march is brain injury awareness month!
say, perhap some of you can head on out that that marin based get together on march 28, or the brain-injury cause, and do some silent auction or raffles...

share some great out door hope and sunshine with those who have had a HARD ride... or hard fall, if truth be better stated...

Upon closer inspection I discerned it came from a friend I have yet to meet. Thank you very much; your card made my day.

hey there say, hankster... oh my... hankster came to visit me, and not only that:

a good friend of my brother matt's has jumped in.... ;) (and chappy's friend, too, no doubt)... hey there, to timidtightrope... :)

awwwh, hankters, say, i come from a very large family, and family is family, and even if we are not the same, there is speical threads made for holding quilts of different patterns together... i learned that, quite young, and perhaps back then---quite sensitively...

i am very thankful this night for the THREAD of the supertopo quilt that is now pulling us "ol' scraps of various patterns" together... you, me, and everyone here...

and--thanks to all for friendship here, and that just stepped in as of recent, i was very surprised to see this again...

i've just had a rough day trying to COACH two little girls (step grandkid and half grandkid) (if these are the proper terms) how to "be friends" (they are half sisters to each other).... sometimes they "forget"... but i trust that it still there, it just needed to be nurtured... (the girls are fine now, and sleeping)...

if i have done my days worth of salt--these girls will have learned a bit more as to being friends, even though they have different ideas, sometimes at the same or even wrong timeing, as to doing something...

and i reckon, so have we...

learning is like a plant that keeps getting some of its buds cut back when one least expects it, but they keep cooming back strong and pretty, and keep life going, in stronger and new ways...

thanks for the post-share here hankster... and smiles and god bless...

*i think the internet and post, and "greetings and salutations that one may have" just get "magnified" a mite on the net... as there is so many post, it all adds up differently than a few causual visits each day, in passing...

love from neebee... hanging on to the ol' trail... and watching the new sunrise, each day.... ;)

note for drljefe:
*money trouble, is holding anchor, as i take care with this trust from supertopo's recent aid---key issue is my sciatic-hip is near well (everytime i really thought it was, something went wrong again), i think one more bit of aid from my friends massage-therapy and i can push for a side job, 'til the deli is done... is sure is stalling---maybe just maybe, a well hip and a well job will match up at the same time... this would be some real crying of victory! tears, for sure... :)

You're especially welcome. Sounds as if those grandkids were a little untamed today, but you didn't give in and feel you maybe should have a little. Well, I'll bet you did good to teach them about getting along. I wish you could have a day or two with mine, ages 6 and 10. They're amazing how they'll learn a lesson the first time real well when the consequences are a little rough - so, you did good and they'll appreciate it someday, maybe even tomorrow.

hey there TMjesse, say, thanks again...

well, just now: i was just trying to set up something new, for trying to earn some money (a new pup-dog bit of fun, i hope) and i dropped back in here...

yep--they seemed to feel like bickering today, and my kids never really did that (i coached them young) :) ...

but you know, all turned out well---come time to sleep, we had our quiet-time to reflect, etc, and so i got to reinforce the tougher stuff, with the added kindness, etc...

happy sleepers, now...
*note:
but they were happy, inspite of the coaching, earlier---they don't always LIKE it at the moment (specially cause i 'call them' on it, and herd them into dealing with the matter at hand, and getting it settled "now"), :O

but they keep coming back:
something MUST be seeping into the ol' inner spirit for them, just as you say... ;)

god bless... am up WAY too late, but i gave them all my time today and some nieghbor kids, too... got to "cram" in this bit of supertopo and NEW doggie fun (hopefully a sales venture)...

will post it hopefully by tomorrow... :)

Kerri our office manager said "Who or what is "Prod""

I said "Um... that would be me"

Thanks for the great x-mas wishes Neebee! You are a treasure for all of us here on the taco, and I am sure much beyond the web!

hey there prod/guy... oh MY... sure hope you drop back in here, later, to see the reply---you made me LAUGH, and i needed a break-time... i have been up far too late, for two days in a row, and needed the nice shares here from all... :)

i can just imagine the work scene now, from what you said:
the laugh helped my "bouncy-spring of business" unwind, and super-fast, too...
i feel like one of the cats, that just jumped into "spur of minute fun"---as if from serious project mode, to play... :) (though, not as unique a spin-on-it, as the cats!)...

thanks for the fun!

and thanks ato ALL of you for letting me know the cards got there, too... and that they "hit the spot" ... :)

hugs to all... :)
say---and happy supertopo-campfire eve, to you all too:

ooops, though it IS moring, reckon i was the one to see the ol' flames flicker down to a warm glow... best dust-out the ol' fire for now... :)
seems coffee, should be flowing now... ;)

hey there charley... say, very glad to know you got the card... thanks for letting me know... stay warm and my winter be good... god bless... thanks for the wishes...

* say, folks:
a very very good friend, from the last four years, did NOT know that i had all these cards from last years "super-sale" and after so many folks were so kind and gracious here, to me, this year, i wishes and prayed so hard that i could share my heart with you all....

well, she suddenly announced one night that she had "tons" (well, you know) of stamps... :O from a while, saved up... thus, she send me some BOOKS of them... and thus, i have been able to reach so many of you all...

you all are just the best... :)
hopefully all the cards continue to get where they belong... tried to get as many of you all that talk, visit or email with me... not wanting to forget any of you.... course, there are "tons" of folks here, and i dont know every one that well yet---but:

next year will come up to bat, for the ol' pitch, :)

god bless and sweet happy christmas and new year of high hopes and new treasures to you all... :)

still no job, but i do have family out in calif... and lynda, and ken, are both relative-connected, so i would also get to say hey there to them, too, and my brother matt is around there, and sometimes even mark is up there (chappy) as he is up there now, too (by the way)...

hey there say, wow, i just met hanster's neat wife "wacky", here on the ol' taco... happy to see you, jackie!...

:)

and say, disaster master:
the original story is this:
the story goes, that the bad dreams are caught in the weave and the good ones go through... through the native american story... the litte feather hanging in the center, kind of guides the way for them to slip on down...

HOWEVER,
stauch supporter of family-and-loved-ones-and-good-buddies, and prayer-and-well- wisher that i am, i kind of use mine and send them out
this way:
as a picture of the love of family and friends "woven about one" (kind of how the old snowshoe weave, upholds one through the hard trips through winter's heavey onset...

or:
as a picture of how many things may seems to be "caught into our lives" but we can be REMINDED to reach through and "get our fish from the ol' net" and keep any good treasures found and discard the residue...

also,
i personally like to think of it as PICTURE (and a principle so common in nature) that:
as the good lord watches over us, and as our family and friends support us, our dreams and atmospere in the home, COME NIGHTFALL, or COME DAYTIME will THUS naturally be DREAMS of:

peace and harmony, and will thus be in sync, as we are REMINDED by its presence:

for US THEN, to be in sync with those "fragile looking, but strong in THEIR own right" FOLKS in our lives:
a "meshwork of loved ones, framed around us" (it sure is a good example of a learning tool, to me, for that) and that is why i enjoy them so much... :)

we can decorate them with colors or things we love, and STILL be reminded that life is fragile, and it is LOVE that holds it all in place, or, it can break and fall apart (like when the wood frame breaks or the strings)...

wellllll, there now we have it:
so that is why i send them, when i can:

to those that need a happy smile,
or just to say thank you for being friends,
or just for small fun gifts at any time special time...
or to give-back, to those that have given to me...

*i kind of put my own spillway-spin-off of happiness into it...
:)

*sometimes, i can't always do it, but the right time seems to come around, or a need arises, and there, suddenly i AM ABLE... :)

makes them sparkle all the more, for me...
:)

EDIT:
*also, putting things on it, when you are able, that are special enjoyments, or themes, or things that are good thoughts to you, make your
thoughts all the more sweeter, come nightfall...

EDIT:
*for example, i found a neat branch with TWO pinecones on it, unlike any other bendable branch i had found before, and i KNEW it was so speical for all hankster and jackie as they are so united in all they do, in the great outdoors, like:
two pinescones in a pod
(ooops, haahhaha, or is that ol' saying, "like two peas in a pod) ;)

god bless, all...

hey there say, damo62 (edit, oops, was supposed to be a "2", i have number troubles, at times) and sparky and all...

i been trying to get the "right things balanced around here", as i settled into the new place that was offered to me... and it sure is a warm feeling to know that whatever we are trying to do in life as to "toe to the mark" on the ol' paths we face, is able to help others stay encouraged, in some way, as well... so i pass the ol' sailing-chore on to you all, too, with a hearty thanks for friendship:

say, let's keep on watching our keels, and the ol' tiller/rudder, sails and "coming abouts" and all that's in our power as we sail these ol' seas-of-life...

:)

sometimes we kind of feel stalled out in the ol' bay, but the breeze and the adventure that calls from various places, always keeps us up to the next available sail...

happy sailing, you all...

ooooops, i mean, happy climbing... ;)
ahhhh, you know what i MEANT, didn't you, :)) ...

second thought, was oh, no i ordered another cd (very bad late night habit), i slice it open with my pocket knife and this is what i find:

Well, I had got the pleasure of having brunch with Neebee and a handful of other Tacoheads recently. She's an angel.

I don't need to say this because many of you have witnessed her love and selflessness. But I will, she deserves it.

Her family mourns the loss of her father. She and her family could use some love. My son and wife were delighted to meet her.

She is more kind and gracious in person.

It was kind of a top-secret meeting so I won't say who attended, but Neebee was in town and wanted to meet the locals. I was very honored to be invited.

Thanks, Neebee! Never change, you're an angel. (I actually kinda believe that).

hey there say, bluering and all... it was so wonderful to see folks for real...

i had only a VERY VERY small window here... i had to accept the fact, that i could not reach out to pull the whole gang of buddies, from taco, into a visit...

was a hard sad time, but it turned into a wonderful miracle in, many many ways... and i will NEVER forget this bit of life, that sprouted, though sadly from my wonderful daddy passing-on...

message and lesson to learn:
turn the hard trail into a path for new life...
smile through the tears...
and do it the best that we can...

for anyone else in pain (emotional or physical)right now,
may new open doors, be there,

I won't reveal other identities present. Does anyone have a photo they want to post? Neebee didn't want to make a big deal out of this, and I'm sure it would've got way more complicated to post it on the Taco.

I just want to show my appreciation for neebee,
I got a really wonderful and thoughtful and creative gift in the mail the other day. it came at a good time too, as I was having a really bad week.

I can't believe a total stranger would go out of their way and take the time to create something so lovely for me - some unknown bozo on a website. people I know don't even do that.
it's really touching. no one has ever done that for me, and I don't really know what to say.

I even hesitated posting this so as to not fudge up the "front page" *eye roll*

so a huge THANK YOU to neebee and whoever else sent their regards along with the awesome gift. I am hanging it up in my bedroom tonight. will try and post some pics as well.

hey there say, anita514... a hug back, and thank you...

and more important:

a very SPECIAL REMINDER --YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON--we all are, in our unique ways...

we have so MUCH to offer that we sometimes do not see...
it is OTHERS, in our corner, that help bring it out in us, and from us... they make us 'brave' to do so... !!!

all of us here, and NOW you are part of quilt, here...

we are sewn in little ways, and joined by 'overlaps' ... some of us may not fit, normally, as day to day, BUT--
by the power of a simple, though at times, seemingly WEAK thin thread, we,through climbs, and adventures, and sharing new thoughts and learning to grow, OVERLAP and join by the
THREADS that we allow to SEW us up into a thing of BEAUTY...

a joint climber group... :)
warm, for when the times are cold and hard, and
soft, for when care is needed...

and tough, so not to fall apart if something tries to 'tug us the WRONG way' or 'belittle our beauty' , or 'gnaw' against the seams... :)

and yep, at times, a bit of a crazy quilt, ;)
and with embellishments the 'LIKES' of which
non-climbers may not understand... but SO VERY special and lovely...

:)

and ps to you anita:
i know about the worry of 'fudge of MESSING with front page' and
too much 'spotlight' :O
but:
the front page will get back to climbing, i always, have confidence, in that... with all the great climbers, here...
and their new adventures, or NEW thoughts on the old... they will do it, and can do it... >:D<

hope they 'run us back down' a bit, into a nice sunny meadow, while they
get a good powerful STREAM going, :)

hang in there and keep getting well!!!
if you feel down, say, just give us a yell...

and by the joint, quilt, we'll make you feel swell!...

god bless!!

examples of crazy quilts...

our supertopo OVERLAPS come in even more far-reaching varieties, supertopo--yet: in basic ways--we are all the same... fragile material, linked by threads that dare to reach out, and join, and embellish, as we ADD to each other, in new ways...

smile at yourself, so you can smile at others...
then--when you need to MEND or fix the FRAYS,
it will be appreciated, and not aggressively harmful, :)

the ol' quilt will last far beyond our life, and have a
special history, all its own, :)
