The little rollerskater of Sequoia

I swear this is for real! It is a shadow cast on these slabs opposite Bearpaw Meadows every evening! I don't know what is hanging out of his shirt pocket, maybe his slingshot?

On the way to Gem Lake in RMNP ... A boulder with attitude.

Here, below, I see Snoopy from the Peanuts gang...

This is on the McGregor ranch property at Lumpy Ridge. Some also see a well endowed woman sitting on Snoopy's head....hmmm.

These are great pics folks!

I knew more pics would get posted.

My favorite is the "Little Rollerskater in Sequoia". That is so cool. So many other worthy pics.

Hey Bluering, you're right about the girl looking like an ayatolla or some turban wearing man with a beard. Funny how things change with a little new perspective.

Thanks to all who've contributed!

I found this twenty-five-dollar word on Wikipedia:

Pareidolia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term pareidolia (pronounced /pæraɪˈdoʊliə/) describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hearing hidden messages on records played in reverse. The word comes from the Greek para- —"beside", "with" or "alongside"- meaning, in this context, something faulty or wrong (as in paraphasia, disordered speech)—and eidolon—"image" (the diminutive of eidos—"image", "form", "shape"). Pareidolia is a type of apophenia (i.e., the experience of seeing patterns or connections in random or meaningless data).

Bernard Madoff's nonsense blatherings induced a state of pareidolia in his victims, inspiring confidence in his non-existent investment scheme.

Those rocks at Lumpy.... wish I could find a photo, but from the parking lot, they totally look like ET bestowing, uhm, oral treats on a fellow standing up.
