Ain't SEEN one...but I've snagged many with my ski tips, causing an impromptu yard sale.

I have warned my children for years to watch out for the seldom seen, but still dangerous snow snakes....

Most commonly, they come out onto snowy roads, and bite the car tires causing loss of control.

I, too, have been victimized. I think they come from JTree.

the Eastern Sierra snow snake has developed into a devious, and dangerous critter.
Once just found primarily in "Sierra Cement", innocently tripping skiers up for fun, they have evolved into a cadre of sickos, waiting for big, beautiful dumps before they strike. Sometime in the past few years, they have figured out how to bring large amounts of snow down on top of their favored prey, the frothing at the mouth powder hound. That's right, they have figured out how to take you down without actually getting very close, and they seem to have developed a taste for human flesh and blood.

the danger is real
