JC Penney created that as a "social virus". By sending it to just a few people, it multiplied beyond what they could have gotten with click-throughs on some web pages.
And it was free distribution!
Clever.
They left out some really good ones though, like
"Honey, do these jeans make by butt look fat?"
"No, dear. It's not the jeans."
EDIT:
I went to Sears, not JCP.
Got quality Craftsman tools and a tool box - basic stuff like hammer, screw drivers, pliers, wrenches and socket wrenches.
I should be solid.
