Lois, I hope you are still around so I can give you some facts about Richard. It was a drug deal(small scale) that went very bad in a hurry! Guns were pulled and Richard defended himself and the girl.It went worse when he and the girl tried to cover up the shooting and dumped the bodies in a lake. The girl ratted Richard out and got no time--Richard had bad legal council and was sentenced--after attempts were made by friends he was released for time serverd for self defence. He is living on the Left coast. I have a set of four owls on wood panels that are beautiful, have prints made from same if any interest. "Jane Fonda made mistakes that killed GI's but I watch her movies because she is a ARTIST"
Hope this clears up any doubts--his work continues to be awsome!

Hi Hugh,

I missed your post because I have been on vacation. Funny, I was just thinking about the whole thing not so long ago. Yes, the owls are lovely. I have a whole bunch of them. It is difficult when someone you admire falls from grace as it were.

I would love to believe your story is true. The family tells such a different account. It is hard to know what is true in these kinds of cases. The Indian paintings are lovely also.

For the rest of you wondering what this is all about, I will dredge up the old thread and anyone interested can read about it.

Nice to meet you, Hugh. How did you come to be involved in this whole thing. You might like ST. It is sort of a nice place to hang around although I don't do so much anymore. Simply too busy and involved with other things right now. What is your connection to Hinger.

I will be back shortly with the thread. Be patient, everyone.

Hey Jay! How's it going?

I have a job interview tomorrow. A job opened up in primary care within my organization and I have a shot at it. Here is hoping to get out of the ER and back into primary care. I feel like I have been doing hard time for the past six months or so.

The whole owl thing is strange no matter how you look at it but they are damn nice art works. Sort of wish I did not know all the rest of it - sometimes things are just tmi - kind of wish I never did that original google search and set up this whole cunundrum in the first place. Maybe Hugh could get Richard here to tell his story.
