Okay, I admit, this one is almost impossible unless you have seen the image before.

Can you name one of the people in this pic?
It was taken during a rescue from which route?
What was different about this rescue?
What is noteworthy about the haulbag.

I know! Impossible questions, but this is the last one for today so why not go out with a grimace?

It's a rescue from the Salathe Wall, of a French climber. The photo appeared on the cover of Mountain 63 (1978). The rescuer is none other than SuperTopo's Mike Graham, and they're at the Block. The climber had broken an ankle, and it was the first time someone was lowered in, and the injured party and rescuer then hoisted back up. The haul bag belonged to another team.

Okay. time for my nap. Everything is as MH says. I suppose I could add that the pig was being given a free ride up and contained another team's bivi gear; a fact they discovered later that night when they had none.

I'll try and do some more tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks, Simon - glad you're back, posting some more puzzlers.

I was going to string this one out, then realized that MG might be skulking about, ready to post...
