We are working on a trip report layout for SuperTopo. until that happens, it would be great if you could post your trip reports in the forum and then post a link to it on the route beta page.

For example, a great trip report for Leaning Tower was posted here:
http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=699304

So I posted a link to it here:
http://www.supertopo.com/rockclimbing/route.html?r=yblewest

That way, once the trip report gets bumped into obscurity, there will still be an easy way to find it for future climbers.

If you have a trip report for a classic route that is not in our route database, please email me at chris@supertopo.com

I may be able to create a page for it.

Thank you for everyone who posts trip reports! They are my favorite part of the forum.

Ed's post begs the question, though I hope I know the answer; Are any routes too obscure? If it's all about expressing the spirit of adventure, and if there is any chance the info could spark/enable someone else's new advenure, isn't sharing a good thing?

I'd post, but the routes aren't in the index on this site (or any other...)

Mountain Project is probably a better place to post, and it is a lot of work (I've added a bunch) if you want to put in your own routes.

But I'll go back and look at the TRs I've written and try to link them to the routes, such as that is...

...I will post obscure, for sure... even if just in the Forum.

Great idea, makes backup mirrors way easy.
This protects the good stuff against server crash, lightening, 747's, earthquakes, Tsunamis, rockfall...

Also, you can purge that back end forever but the reports are safe.

ElCap Pics has a website with well organized text, but not a pic in sight, whats up with that?

You should use a CIA Govt Eraser program for the Staff Infection threads.
You can't be to safe with these new strains, they get into everything.

How can I post a link to a route when it's not in your limited routes data base?

Here's my link to a TR of the Lost Arrow Chimney.

mike, thanks for posting corrections to the topos. if you could not post the whole topo, that would be cool. maybe less than 75% of it. Thanks!

I will work on getting the lost arrow chimney route up
