Any talk of another Gunks reunion? I was there regularly 1967-1980 and would love to see some old friends and belay partners from those wonderful days.

Thinking of proposing a major reunion in Spring 2016. This will coincide with the 50th anniversary of my first Gunks climb. Hoping to bring in many of the remaining climbers from the 60s and 70s to join--with all others welcome. It will entail flying people in from different parts of the country. People interested in participating in the ORGANIZATION of this are welcome to contact me through my email. Roy Kligfield.

How 'bout having one in the west? this way all of us expats don't have to go back to the dreaded east. The one major downfall would be the quality of the pizza.

Todd, a certified punk-ass climbing kid in the '70's and 7-year veteran of SUNY New Paltz in the '80's.

Yer nutz! Gunks in the fall, don't count as the "dreaded east"...

... I grew up in Baltimore, that could count!

^^^^^ It does if there is a Hurricane like my last attempt at a fall trip in 1985 or so.

Hey Folks,

I had planned to do a historical NACHA Festival in the Gunks this year but it is going to have to be 2016. Too much else going on right now for me to devote the necessary time.

Please coordinate any planned gathering with me before tossing out dates if you would be so kind.

October is the best time for everyone generally and you really can't have a Gunks reunion elsewhere IMO.

Cheers,

Hey Steve,

Dick DuMais, Peter Geiser and I are up for helping to get a Fall reunion in the Gunks organized. Any others? Kligfield
