Honored Blitzo

Although a tiny rebel in me has a slight reaction when we refer to photography or climbing as "Work" Makes the Peter Pan in me think I haven't avoided "work" enough!

Karl, You are not avoiding work at all.
Most folks think that if you're not punching a clock, you're not working.
Well, They are dumb all over!
As a photographer myself, I have spent countless hours to get that shot, It has paid very little, but I don't care.
I love producing photos! It is work!

Your work is excellent! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Blitzo

Here's the rub. you spent hours getting the shot but did you spend hours marketing and getting images in front of photo editors?

I haven't! That's the "work" where folks can actually make some more dough at this.

But we both know what we're talking about and yeah, I'm just talking smack.

Nice pictures, but shameful self promotion on a climbing discussion forum.

I am shameful and fully encourage a long and divisive philosophical (or slanderous) discussion of my propriety on this very thread

This one's for Ouch

and this

I could probably put this second on in a photo book

In some newer books, plus Ouch's interpretation

I actually took the left half on the picture and handed the camera to Rob and told him to snap the image when I climbed up to the target zone for the right half. Stitched them together later.

Thanks Ouch

Can I get away with bumping my thread if I post this new el cap image?

I should note that instead of running a dirtbag special this year, all the prints from my galleries (some have technical glitches this week) are priced at printing cost plus shipping. You donate what profit you can afford via paypal when able.
