The hell I couldn't! I've got Dan Blocker's recipe. He used to enjoy a half dozen of 'em or so after a hard day of slacklining.

Blocker's??...no way! I seen his ESS go up against some o' the best around...includin' Tayback's AND Vigoda's. That's playin' dirty my friend...dirrrteee! Mine'll take those two I think... but I'll be honest....I ain't been up against Blocker's yet.

UnHoly crap...I just laid the zest egg salad fart of all time. A hellacious gastrologic event.
Too bad we were bivied at Thumb Rock in a small two man snowcovered tent sleeping head to toe. Too bad for my partner Bupkes, that is, being so far from the only fresh air coming from the door at my end. Alas, Alas, never even woke up.
On the up side, manmade hydrogen sulfide may be a brand new category for Accidents in Mountaineering.

Donny, you lyin' sack! I just saw Vigoda over at the climbing gym (crankin' 5.9 like a mofo!). I'm kinda strapped for cash and was tryin' to sell him the Blocker recipe, but he told me to stick it 'cuz he says ain't no sandwich come close to his since Hoss left us. He also said he wouldn't feed your sorry ESS to Wojciehowicz! (Tayback wouldn't give me the time of day, so f*ck him.)

....something tells me this thread could be as great a sleeper as the campstove review.....
And - now you done it. I just put some eggs on the stove to boil, in preparation for a sandwich of the same kind(without the flatulant "just desserts"). Ewww...I wrote that.
Anyway - so what makes your ESS recipe so much better than, say the Mrs. Mar---(my mom)recipe, that includes a little celery salt, chopped celery and onion, pepper and paprika(and, of course mayonnaise, with lettuce, on grainy bread(my version)?
edit: I forgot - a tiny bit of mustard, too.

I did have an egg salad sandwich but it was mediocre, as I knew it would be.
