hey there all... say, some of you folks were so very kind to buy a few of my novels... (TWO folks even volunteered for the CONCLUSION one---and this may not work out well for them, but they did)...(thanks guys, whereever you are tonight)... :)

well say, they (my novels and stories) have gotten some very good reviews, BUT I MUST WARN YOU, i just got a very BAD review from one gal, as to the SECOND one (such a bad one as this, i had never forseen, though other bad ones, yes, i surely could)(but-perhaps i should have had her read the first one, haha, but i needed to see if it stood alone---perhaps that is the reason, though, i dont think that is entirely it, as you will see why...

she is a format-romance reader though and reviewer though, and my book is HARDLY THAT!... YET, it was the only place i could find available recently for a guy and gal story...

welllllllllll, the apology to-and-for you all is this:

1--these are very different books, mine... they are not format, fast-food type novels... these are done to keep take you deeper into words and thinking... these are to give you pictures to ponder and phrases to take you out of your brains easy-format, and challange one to think----thus, if you are thinking of the words and the story on hand:

2--you will have to take more time to sit back and take a deep look at why you are doing this:

3--you are taking this READING journey to try and see and understand how a family is dealing with severe head injuries, and seizures that take away ones whole framework of life as one has known it---this is no thing to be breezed through, and yes, it may take time...

SO: please great ol' supertopo climbing-folks, forgive me if i let any of you down, by asking you all to read something too complicated... (as this is what the poor ol' gal had thought)...

*NOW, COURSE, I MUST LEARN FROM THIS, SO: my only main concern was this----she actually said she could not even FIND the storyline, or the point of it all.... hmmm, this was very odd to me, as:

1--a teacher had read it, and she did...
2--and, a room-designer, did too, and she has a very critical eye--but she saw the point, and even learned along the way...
3--no one else has yet had a chance to read this #2 novel, yet...

NOTE:
hmmmm, well.... after the first novel, i hopefull do not think i "completely lost my mind-frame, as to what i was doing"----hmmmm, sure hope not, :)

*novel #3, got a good to very good (but one gal did say it was a bit wordy)--as to reviews (but i am getting a guy that does book reviews on texas, to one too, so to get more feedback--which i need if i am going to push these books) (will let you all know what happens)...

but to all you all that bought them, thus far... sure hope you arent too sorry for what spending the bucks---this is not fast-food, like i said... hope you dont get losts on the hard trail, and hope you still can find some good views, and immerse yourselves into a WHOLE differnt world, and gain some insight along the way... :)

*if you throw a few tomatoes along the way, my way, :) please throw a few salutes out to those that have head injuries or seizures, as they try to overcome, when you happen to meet-up some of these folks in real life---- :)

thanks guys, now back to supertopo...

hey there coachmaster... say, i am chappy's oldest sister....

say, here is the link:

man, oh, man.... i thought i REALLY scared folks away, this time... :O

http://stores.lulu.com/neebeeshaabookwayreadjakeanddonate

*the books may still have a few type-errors, but otherwise they really do stand as i created them to be.... (give or take a few commas that i may rearrange, or not, at a latter date)

say, it is really hard to push a book, with a warning, i know... but, i sure want folks to see the hard trail before they take the climb---sure dont want no folks "cursing the ol' trail"... just as climbing el cap, though, i hope the end results warrent it all .... :)

say, also, some reviews for the novel series (and also the short stories) can be found here:

http://jj-ns.read-jake-and-donate.com
and when you get there, click the "INTRODUCING..." picture of the book of that name---it is right there on the front page

*think i best be testing this link, in case i typed it wrong... :)

*links are now correct... oh, my... :)

Ola Neebee, I can remember my frustrations in college from professors who thought my writing didn't fit into their formulas. Formulas are great for those wishing to make a buck. They really have figured out what sells. For those who aren't trying to make a bunch of money or feeding their creative egos, but rather just trying to say something they think might be helpful to folks, the choices are limited. There are some critics out there that just don't get it or write for a specialized audience. Ignore them unless you can see their point. Don't be discouraged. Find your own audience. You speak straight from the heart and there are plenty of people that treasure that voice. Send me some of your pain, I'll trade it for some of my strength, cause it doesn't do me any good unless I share it.

hey there wayno... ola (hola) ... say... THAT was the word i was looking for:

formula-writing... i had posted format-writing, i think (in my earlier post here)...

say, you are very right though, i should have found a regular novel reader, and not a formula-writer:
but:
many reviews will NOT read a book unless it can be bought on-line at amazon.com---and my novels do not have isbn's yet... and most likely may not, unless i save money and buy one myself, to be the self-publisher... so i picked that gal's site...

** lulu.com DID have a program to do this, and recenly held BACK THE FEE for to do so----and---i was very glad and near jumped at it, BUT, it was questionable about them possibly getting a hold of too many of my AUTHOR RIGHTS... no no no no nooooo... not for me, then..

oh, my, and yes---i used some of it for a learning session-- i put one of the words that she did NOT like, into italics... easier to see its point, now...

but not seeing a story in it, as it was lost in the shuffle of words, was very odd...(yet, as in novels, there is more than one story line, going on... perhaps in formula romance novels, which mine IS NOT, perhaps there is not much going on, and all is one-track, to one goal)...

hey there all.. just a bump so to get my note out to the folks that bought some of my books...

*say, on the other hand, i DID get a great report on the first jake novel--> JAKE ('I'm thinkin'...')
and from a reader from supertopo, too:

so that sure makes up for the worries, at least, for the first novel... :)
