Thanks - I see it worked.

Perhaps you should have titled it "Palin climbing pictures" or something, given the noise to signal ratio around here lately.

ps Is it spelt "Birchiff" or "Bircheff"? Trouble is, you can't edit a thread title, although you can always edit the initial post. You have to repost with the new title, then delete the old thread. But it's NBD when a thread's just started, as no one else has posted.

Great!

#40 looks like the Blade Traverse pitch on the North American Wall.

It's actually Bircheff - accidental misspell. And yes, #40 is the NA Wall

So Amanda, did you get any stories or pics of your dads to add the the plane crash thread?

Or did I get the wrong person?

You have the right person. Rick (ricknie@aol?)was just e-mailing me about the crash and how it influenced climbing. But like I told him, my Dad was basically just there in camp when everyone came back with their cargo. He has told me the story a couple times but just wanted me to let Rick know his account. Crazy stuff if you've never heard the story!

Go for it.

At first glance it appeared that they had used somebodies calf for the register...
