We're going to be spending next week (20 -27 Sep) in the Needles (Cali). Never been there before, so I'd appreciate suggestions about routes (5.10 and under), approaches, camping, nearby food/beer, etc. We're flying into LAX (yuck) mid-day Saturday.
We've done a fair bit of homework, and have whatever topos we could find on the intardnet, but it's always good to hear from folks who've climbed there. (wherever "there" is)

Hike inand camp, or camp at Quaking Aspens Campground,
that is located about halfway betwrrn Dome Rock and the Needles trailhead.
A couple of classics to climb would be Igor Unchained, and
Airy Interlude.
While you are there, You should check out Dome Rock also.
It has quite a few good climbs on it also.

traditionally, stay at Dome Rocks, it's free but limited facilities (like no water)...
the Pondo (Ponderosa) is the usual place to eat... bring food if you don't want to eat there every dinner... but you have to eat there at least once on your visit. You might be able to find an original Stonemasher's Guide hanging there...
Bring slings capable of using for tie-offs, especially for the 5.10 and unders...
Did you happen to get a guide for the area? I'm in Seattle, other wise I'd post some recommendations... there may be a volume of Climbing that has some good recommendations...
Maybe e.c. will post up, he has a very keen sense of quality... look at his site
