Though I figured I'd do this one in the standard style, since it's easier, and people are much more concerned with the politics threads...actually it's so Russ and Jay can see the pics...
We met up with Justin Edl for a bouldering tour...we started out in The Sting area...

from R to L: The Sting, center OW project(weird!), Firewater Crack

Pat on the Firewater Crack
Justin doing a lap on The Sting

This was down around the Corner from the first 3 problems...it's a hard thin pod start on the underbelly...

We then toured around the rest of the area, looking at a number of good looking problems and projects...the 'All American Roof' was pretty cool lookin...
The evening prior, Pat and I walked from the camp over to Reynolds Hill area for a walk about...we were impressed by 'Old Dog's New Trick' and when we mentioned it to Justin, he grinned ear to ear and we headed over there...
We first stopped to play on Pussy Cat's Hot Licks

Though it looked as though he was past the crux, Justin made the wise decision to wait and get another pad or two before he boulders out this route...proud effort for sure.
Old Dog's New Trick

We then headed to Buford to round out our day on the Tulip Crack...

By that point, I was too worked to even get started...we headed back and had some beers. It was an awesome tour, I was psyched to see such cool problems, and meet a really chill dude amped on OW bouldering...esoteric peas in a pod...
We had plans to head back to Squat with Justin in a couple days, the next day seemed like a good opportunity for a rest day...it was needed...but then the rain started, and Squat and Veduawoo in general wasn't looking too positive...with unfinished business waiting in Cooke City we figured it was time to wrap things up...and we hit the road to sunnier skies...
Cheers,
Tom

What fun! Thanks!
Okay it's on, next year we're all going to have more time, we will sacrifice as many sportclimbers as it takes to appease the rain gods (just rattlin')and let's all have some adventures together! Don't worry, increased geezer presence will only make you guys look better.
I've got a few short probs that may or may not be on the current maps...
