This thread AKA "The Todd Gordon Appreciation Thread." Of course you do! The famous proprietor of the 'ol Gordon Ranch has hosted more climbers than he could shake a stick at.
Here at the Rubidoux bouldering contest.
He was the only local at this crag near Lukachukai. Oh, also Brian Povolney.
He set an early record of 7 on top of Mexican Hat. It started to tip but we all ran to the uphill side and righted it. Whew!
Anybody ID this route?
Spider Rock overlook.
Denali epic.
3 atop the 3 Penguins FA.

Moses? Not sure, can't remember.
Getting his "Man Bag" ready for Moses. He never travels without one. No comments on the blaring hat rack.

Anybody want to say thinks for staying at his house for free 5,000,000 times? How about praising one of his 10,000,000 first ascents like the classic "Don't" or "Mike Hunt?"
No more generous human have I ever known.

Dihedral on the FA on Los Gigantos.
Name this route.
Sorting gear with Cyndie, Marge, DE and Kyle Copeland while pounding Mountain Dew. It was either before or after more FAs.

Hey Bob, hope all is well!
It took us all day to climb that pile. I led the first 1/2 pitch (when I lowered off I was a mental wreck) and Todd led the 2nd 1/2. We weren't sure if it was dirt or wood, but one thing for sure, it wasn't rock.

Can't believe how much he looks like his twin brother from another mother Fidel in the Spider Rock Overlook...
I first met Todd at a party at Powell's...KP was trying to drink all the strawberry margaritas in sight and without his helmet on, he was a danger to one and all--especially himself.
Todd was a lovely man-sitter that night. He kept taking Kevin's margarita and hiding it...and Powell, in his sharp-as-nails state of mindlessness, would believe he'd drunk the thing, and return to rolling around on the floor.
Just an all-round wonderful guy, that Todd. His reputation for loving choss and bolting any chosspile that even a chuckwalla would find intimidating is not to be undervalued. Todd has put up some fantastic routes. JTree wouldn't be what it is today without him.
And as for the example he sets as a father--you new dads should take notes. He adores his kids and takes them wherever he goes. Talk about an inspiration.
Salude, Todd! You're one heck of a great guy!

Todd is simply the best. Generous to a fault. Always a kind word to say about anyone. Has climbed everywhere and anything. One of my personal climbing heros.
Thanks Todd for the 1001 nights of bivying at the Ranch(es).

Not only know him but love him as a very kind friend. Heartily second RV's remarks and everyone else's.
Dan introduced me to Todd when I first went with him to J. Tree pro about 30 years ago and didn't know anyone. Todd always makes people feel welcome.
Todd was the essence of patience and kindness, enjoying the process and joy of teaching newcomers to climb...sharing that special gift with them.
Saw this gift at work again at the Josh redux reunion in April. Of course Todd not only had his young son with him, but his latest teen prodigy. I took the young man home that evening (sorry, Todd, forgot his name) and he raved about T.G. the whole way. BITD Todd took our youngsters climbing and his amazing enthusiasm rubbed off especially on our oldest son.
In December when Dan died, it was T. G. that did a memorial thread for him on ST. Something that meant so very much to me.
God Bless you always Mr. Todd Gordon. From the entire Leichtfuss Family.

I HATE appreciation threads.... But Mr. Todd Gordon is the real deal as a human being and a climber. I've only met him once at JT sushifest trying to rewire his amp and we had him sit in with" Burning Barn" ( thanks Todd). Todd is real good folk.
