Good bump, MH. A teammate on my high school track team had a real summer job of fishing in the Sierra, and recording what he caught. I've decided my true fanatasy job would be as a professor of climbing history at Berkeley. That would, of course, require extensive field investigation, and would keep me close to Indian and Mortar Rocks.

gettin' mine in about 3 days: sweet heart of early retirement incentive; son's college expenses are lookin' good (how did he go from 2 months to 19 years during the time I ran to the bathroom...note: young parents....do start that college fund if you haven't already) Now off to Yosemite and the East Side during mid week; climbing gym and yoga classes when it's virtually empty; sailing for many months at a time instead of six weeks; mid week skiing. Down side: the years to keep up this pace aren't stretched out like a long lazy summer...but hey, what's that new mantra: "50 is the new 30"?

I already had the fantasy jobs, climbing guide, YOSAR, journalist.

My new fantasy involves a living wage. Beyond that, I got nothin'

Any suggestions?

Anders, aka Mighty Hiker, was such the Dude to find this Thread I posted long ago and resuscitate it for me. (I couldn't figure out how to find it and wasted over an hour looking.)

I packed today for my Fantasy Job. Leave tomorrow. Know this may not be everyone's fantasy job, but I sure want to give it a go. Hear it's even better than my original Yo Valley Fantasy......

Tomorrow eary I head out for Tioga Pass Resort. Taking a bit of a chance, they may not need me. But I've found life adventure is just keep heading in the direction of your goals and dreams, one step at a time.

I'm Way jazzed. So even if it doesn't work out at least I tried. Dudettes and Dudes, don't "settle" go for Your Dreams. Keep the positive thoughts and prayers going for lynnie gal. CHEERS !

And THANKS again Anders. You are just an amazing human. I asked for help less than an hour ago and you pulled it off. :DDD
