One step removed from a shameless self-bump... bumping my buddy. Err, that didn't come out the way I wanted it to. cough.

But it's time to start dreaming again, to build up the adventure psych. If all goes well, 4th weekend of Feb is a good time for an epic.

I coulda swore we wrote up that ill-fated Braille Book effort (Dec 2007), but I'll be darned if I can't dig it up on google. Maybe another TR waiting to be written.... that was my first outing with le_bruce. More good times!

But seriously, it's time to recapture some adventure. Enough of this "it was a pretty day and we climbed XYZ" shite. Time for some gritty man versus nature over-testosterated idiotic stuff that I look back on say, "whoa that was cool. but dumb. but cool."

Very neat TR. I'm glad you bumped it, since I missed it the first time. The only thing I've done on Lower is Overhang Bypass twice -- with and without the Killer Death Flake. I've still got Bridalveil East on my tick list -- particularly the Robbins-Calderwood variation. One other route that interests me, because none of my friends know anything about it, is the Sacherer-Reed West Face route. Peter? Clint? Anyone??

This would be a great TR if it wasn't for all the spray.

In the perspective of BITD the midget chimney was one of Pratt's heavyweights Pilgrims. It had a big rep which of course meant few had done it. I remember sitting with Morton in the lounge just after Pratt took him up it on the FA. I was just a crazed teenager; his hands were totaled. And the TERROR began!
