I'm thinking it might be worth doing the 2008 SushiFest shirt since the dates are pretty much set and done.

Stay tuned!

(I could also do a generic Shirt with nothing (no dates) on the back)

I am the only one that doesn't know how to pay? I see paypal, but I need more information than that. I'm a paypal noob. Or I will mail a check (send address again - didn't save it from the last sushifest) today.

Is it too late to get two? Please send easy to understand directions on how to pay and how much and I'll order TODAY. I promise!

Crimpmeister,

Paypal is the way to go. It is fairly straight forward and will make buying stuff online a lot easier in the long run.

Steve,

What sheep jokes? Bring those on.

Steve: yeah, I am charging at the facelift in the fall. It'll work like this.

For Tuesday night and Thursday night it's the standard $30/head/night with the standard food fare: big eye tuna, kajiki, tasmanian salmon from hawaii, uni, soft shell, unagi, anago, tobiko, smoked tuna, seared albacore, surf clam... the basics, ya know?

On Saturday night it will work like last year with one small difference. I will put out a tip jar. Anyone that eats some sushi is asked to donate. Last year I split what was in the tip jar with the YCA. This year the entire tip jar goes to the YCA ($175 was the total last year).

On top of that I am conspiring with Tim the Pancake man to make breakfast each morning. We'll also have a tip jar out for that. We'll use the funds to keep the food stocks and anything left over is also a YCA donation.

We'll also consider something similar for dinners.

I know some folks would love to help and if you give me your day (on top of a little trash pickup) your sushi funds for one night will be covered. Duties will include food/beer runs, doing dishes and food prep.

What I'm hoping to accomplish is to make it easier for people to eat well and to get out of camp earlier to pick up trash.

BTW, I'm not really sweating anyone for t-shirt funds. I have this thing which is called a real job so covering the initial costs is no problem. Crimpie: I'll send you my address unless you wish to do the paypal thing.

Hey Crimpy,

Get signed up. It has been a few years since I signed up, but I think you have to send your bank account $.01 which will activate your account? I may be wrong on that, I usually draft off of a credit card.

After signing up and logging in go to send money.

Type in the email address of who you are sending money to.

It will ask what it is for IE services, ebay auction, goods, other. Click the approperate option.

Click send money and your done.
