The remaining half of the Memphis Horns is gone. Wayne Jackson, passed away Tuesday night, June 21st. Jacson and Andrew Love were the heart and soul of the Stax Record's horn section, backing Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin and Sam & Dave among others in the heyday of Stax's roll through music history.
They joined the Robert Cray Band for his rise to fame and fortune.
