thanks for tip, pocoL, i enjoyed that, may have been Satchmo's last hurrah on film as he was gone the next year.

Gone, seems to be the theme today. Yesterday Mr. Winter (thanks Wilbeer) moved on, On this date in '97, I lost my mom and in '67 the 'trane left the station for the last time.

These tunes kind of puts things in perspective.

John Coltrane & Duke Ellington ≈ In A Sentimental Mood

..Mr.lanois happened to be doing a show at shepherds bush in London when I was there in '03. His buddy , Bono, came from backstage to help him with the encore, unrehearsed, and drunk, from all accounts....memorable time

Thanks Tobia.

I don't know how many times I've listened to "It's bad you know" and now I did again... fascinating. I'm stuck with the hills-music of Burnside and Jr. Kimbrough....

And Marlow is drifting wood you know.

At present I'm listening a lot to Electric Moon and thought the music would rub this thread the wrong way, anyhow: here it is.

Beware Mr. Marlow: this thread has the natural mystic which allows posts of choice without debate, ridicule or finger pointing. Maybe.
