So, I've been living with this song in my collection for many years… It is a remix of a song that is older…

I checked to see if there was another version and found the song to have been sung by Sinead O'Connor.

After purchasing the song I gave it a full listen through…
while browsing a thread by Mister E. talking about complacency…

Not sure how long into the song it was but I was looking up at the celling and felt tug from my gut… Looked down at the computer screen to find my eyes had welled up with tears… Maybe it was the realization of my own complacency and a hint of my own inability to make a connection that would resolve my dilemma… Maybe it was the desolation I heard and felt I identified with in the song…. Maybe it was something that I needed to do for me and the song resinated just right to make it happen… But it did…

nita,

Thanks for reminding us of the all time classic Skip Hop and Wobble.
Big Sciota is one of my all time jamming favourites.

Thanks to Jim Brennan for this disturbingly excellent referral.

Zb, I 've only seen two people live from your concert vault...hmm, is Don Rich still alive? Would love to have seen him in his younger days.. singing with Buck Owens.

Chief, I'm a huge fan of Skip, Hop & Wobble, one of my favorite cd's to put on before i go to sleep. Lucky to have seen all those fine musicians play together severl times, and see them play with other bands..

So do you play music on the Eastside, or are you mainly a hired musician with the big leaguers ?

Well Nita, I wish I could say I saw Gene Vincent, but I didn't.

So, to one up you a bit livewise, Cream, Bob Dylan solo & various Bands, Asleep at the Wheel.

Don Rich (aka Donald Eugene Ulrich) has been gone since 1974, but fortunately, Kirchen is still with us and plays all around the world.

Here's Bill now (interestingly enough at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza)

I'd post more tunes, but I'm technologically hampered, as all I connect with is this stupid Wallyworld p

Well, Cap'n - I sure hope you're enjoying the show. You could consider sending your lists to Tobia and me and we could post some of them for ya.
