The loop of rope also appears different, although you'd have to run the angles to be sure. But who cares?

alpine-- yes, that's believable. my guess is that we could map the angles and demonstrate it mathematically. one photo take from slightly above; the other from well below, so the difference in perspective reworks the apparent angles of the objects in the photo.
pretty cool . . .
