Jay-

A new route up SE corner looked like it would go with doubles plus triples of larger sizes. 250' crack with the worst part being the first 15' and a couple blocks. Rock is really shatty (equal to camelback)

Walk is 2 miles of circuitous wash and a mile of rough walking up and over hill to base. You can't see the tower from 85% of walk.

We dug out a bivy for two at the saddle which is wind blocked.

High clearance for drive in.

How strange seeing this thread pop up. Visited the area after Thanksgiving, hadn't been back to KOFA since trying this spire with TD and TS. What a cool place with lots of adventure still waiting. Just a longer drive now.
