P.S. - as much as I'd love to have credit for Swept Away it's actally a Dave Evans and Randy Vogel route. I just had the luck of Rob Mulligans photography while belaying me.

Hey Mtmun, I really dig the painting you posted a few days back. Are you the artist?

And thanks for posting up to all!

You see people from all over the world, then get to be jealous of their campers, realizing ultimately, yes, this would be the BEST RIG EVER:

The Chinchens checking out the trekker's map:

And of course, your buddy has to have one, too! No one likes to travel alone!

Then they drive off, leaving you dejected.

Can't remember what this route is. Anyone? It's out back of HVC somewhere, I think... Started off a huge chock, then quick move around to a flake.

Having grown up climbing there, I got somewhat tired of the place and have just recently begun visiting again after a bit of a break.

I've made it a goal to go back and re-climb many of the old classics. This last trip out was a very fun day of moderates:

Touch and Go
Black Tide/Stichter Quits
EBGBs
Pope's Crack
Sail Away
Run for Your Life

I even got a nice bail biner from EBGBs.

I'm looking at the Monument (I guess it's a Park now)through new eyes and look forward to many more satisfying days to come...

Getting amped Bump

I'm planning on hitting up a few spots I've never been
(for some weird reason)before, like
Baskerville
Tossed Green
Popular Mechanics.

Yeah, never been to the White Cliffs of Dover before.

I love JTree.
Just the air, the light, the sunsets...
