fourth photo, from left: Christy with his dog Jack, a hairless Patrick with Aggie, and Brian and Smokey.

I never have been bald, I was just trimming some grey hairs and wondered what it would be like. I hate it, it doesn't suit me and my head gets cold. I want my hair back (this is in early May and the hair is growing back).

Brian's wife Gaye took the photos.

Aggie is about six months old in the pix, she is bigger now (Border Collie-Lab mix)

hey there say, patrick, nice share!!

say, TGT... this is the one that my son had shared:

hence, the comment, that THAT was how he ate, in the morning, or felt, etc...

oh my, say, WAIT:

this looks more familiar... THIS is the one...

(his wife was joking, how he was OVERDOING it, as to being fast and SLOPPY, hee hee, as to MATCHING the comment to this video)

most likely ,then, he meant: this is how he eats when he gets home
from work???? ;)
edit:

AHHHHHHHH, yep, getting up for breakfast, WORKS just as fine...
you know--it a hurry to get to work, so THAT IS WHAT he meant,
as to 'how i eat in the morning' ... oh my... what a son...
thought i'd 'taught him better' hee heee...

Emma's Really Sick

Ok, some of you here may have seen my posts of Luke and Emma, our two black labs who are between six and seven, photos, poems, etc.

Well, I'm in really deep dog doo right now with my poor Emma, no joke. Last Sunday I was out of town and my wife called me telling me how Emma had been vomiting and wouldn't eat. I got home as I could and on Sunday night I managed to get her to drink some water, but no food, and she was listless, barely walking, same thing Monday, and by Tuesday I was worried so much we went to the Vet. I regret not taking her sooner but was working and hoped that she would come around, to no avail.

Got her to the Vet Tuesday afternoon and turns out she has something seriously wrong with her her kidneys. They have almost completely failed and we have been trying to figure out the treatment and find the cause. Luckily today today she started to eat a little bit she and she is still peeing and drinking a little water. The Vet has had her on IV fluids and tonight will be her third night there. I am taking her home tomorrow because there seems to be not much more we can do for her.

One of her kidneys has come back a little bit but the other is still almost nonfunctional so I am hoping she snaps out of it and stars to eat regularly, otherwise she may not pull through. So she's coming home with her med kit (injectable fluid bags, antibiotics, appetite stimulants, etc).

We don't know how it happened, a toxin, a bacteria or virus (they ruled out cancer), or it is congenital? It might shorten her life if she survives and we don't know if she will. It's so sad because she's 30-40% of her old self right now and poor Luke is all upset and lonely without his sister. They've never been apart more than a day and it will be hard on him if we lose her. Cathy is already distraught and I'm in a funk, pissed and hating God. (lousy at being an atheist such as I am)

It's already been a bad month of June...
1. Wife speeding ticket
2. My bad foot, developed plantar fasciitis
3. Wife trouble at work
4. My wrecked Warbird
5. Emma severely ill
6. Harri Dun our cat disappeared eleven days ago

Sounds like a country western song... good thing I don't drink anymore.

So poor Emma's coming home tomorrow and I'm loving her with all I got.

Scratch the stupid warbird that doesn't count as bad as anything compared to the rest.

To Emma a black dog bar none 'nd part of a pair no less, so a pal to her brother and
a great pal to bushman who is a pal to all
In turn sweet dreams of better tomorrow s too for all the words the ones that mean a bunch is that we all see and pray for you,

Edit:
I hope emma perks up, no fatty foods and clean water, is it the older girl?
At about that age our Daisy had some sort of 'unknown' attack, that all but took her, she came all the way back, and then after a nuzzle and a scrap of a peanut butter crust, that I wish I had let her have more of she curled up by the baseboard heater and went to sleep.
It was sudden for us she had not been ill or unsteady until that morning when she did show some 'wobbles' going down and up the stairs.

She so wanted spring to come. Every day of the last days she would walk out into the snow and sniff and want to go to the 'lake', it was not to be, 4/2001- 3/4/2015, it was a good long life for a big She dog.

and it is amazing that she too did that fish for rocks at the swimming holes trick, often getting caught up in trying to add to the pile at the dammed up out let. She took it upon herself to paw out the offending bad fitting rocks and then spent hours if we let her 'fixing' the stream.
So now if Happie,is lurking she will know who kept changing the out-flow below split rock, on the Coxing stream.
and she loved to swim, wade at split rock in the Gunks, I am glad that she got to go there.

Bushmans' wisdom and sensitivity! Just wow, and from that gruff mug! 8^}
I have so much respect for the heartfelt concern expressed, thank you and bless you for your contributions.

She's home with her pharmacy kit and no improvement as of yet, the Vet has done all they could for her. her kidneys are not good so we don't know how she's going to do ...
Thank you all for thinking about her,
That's Emma sleeping with Luke to the right.
Back with her brother after three days, the longest they've ever been apart.

I'm so sorry about Emma!

As long as she can still pee, that's a good sign.

Hoping for the best.
