Thanks...in a way ... for that DMT. I can't watch the video but as much as I love the "lap dog" best buddy nature of dogs I, like many, am fascinated by the fact we keep a hunter in our midst with cunning instinct just below the surface...survivors...regardless of the size of the dog.
The hunt, we are always about the hunt.

I've only had two dogs (one wolflike in appearance, the other looking more like a lap dog) who had the aptitude to hunt down their own food in the wild -- though others occasionally got lucky. We discourage catching animals because instincts or not our pets are subsidized and don't need to go out and kill. Right now it's snowing hard on top of two feet already in the woods; 8 degrees F with windchill way below that around our place. The wild critters will be struggling to stay alive while our dog naps on the hearth rug. Her feet twitch while she sleeps, probably dreaming of what she was bred and born to do -- chase and catch smaller furry creatures with those sharp canine teeth.

On the bright side she has a new quilted jacket for this winter that won't quit, and is getting to learn about this stuff.
