Saw that cat video today too, Jimmy. Not a big cat person myself, but that is one badass cat!!!

Cat-fight!!!!

EDIT: Ward, my wife just said the same thing about Mom. I think she saw the wound, and the dog bailing, and wanted to get on 911 ASAP. But it DOES NOT look good.

Maybe you're right Blue. It could be the hysteria of the situation, profound stress has a really irrational effect on some people. The cat was in better control of the situation than the woman
(I really don't want to believe the woman was afraid for her own personal safety).

With the positioning of cameras it looks like there was perhaps an on-going dispute between neighbors here. Just a guess.

The dog belongs to Jim Brennan and that's his house next door.

Good point, Jim, but we don't know if the kid was teasing, do we?

But when I was in high-school with my 2 beagles, our immediate neighbor used to tease out older beagle through the fence and throw rocks over at him.

One day he came to collect money for a Boy Scout charity. I left the dinner table to answer the door. I left the neighbor at the door and went to get my Dad. By the time my Dad got to the door, Rocky the beagle was fully locked onto the little punks leg. Canine teeth puncture wounds about 1/2" deep.

We patched him up and sent him on his way, the boy, that is. This was in the mid-eighties.

Granted, the wound in the cat-dog case was pretty nasty. That dog was attacking and seeking the boy out. I don't think it was a teasing issue.

And my dog, Rocky, was an unusually docile beagle. Never, ever bit another before that, or since then.

EDIT: saw an interview just now On Fox that the Mom was chasing after the dog at the end there, and she was bitten too.

ps. HAHAHAHHA Ward ! ! ! (how do you know I'm not your next door neighbour ? You know, the one with the dog...)

Now that you've admitted it ---the only thing left for me to do is offer to buy the Ninja Cat in the video for protection against you and your cowardly dog.
Bring it on....

F*#king awesome. I'm not a cat fan at all but that cats rad!

Speaking of cameras my whole property is getting wired up with cameras next Monday. I got a new neighbor and that threatened my dogs on more than one occasion for absolutely no reason. I have since caught him tormenting them from the other side of the fence.

A couple days after the initial threat both my digs stared getting sick lucking and refusing to eat.

It feels really weird that I am gonna have my whole neighborhood being recorded 24/7 but not a chance I am f*#king with some as#@&%e threatening my dogs.

Last month the news had a story about a family waking up to find the family dog a 10 month or so old beagle strung up and hung from a tree in there back yard.

You never know who your f*#king with anymore theses days. This beagle thing happened in a rather normal working class neighborhood and I live in the same to middle class. Ducking nuts.

The reply he got was," Well, I've got 2 in my gun and only one is for your dog...

That's a good little story.

I've had plenty of good dogs in my life. I remember them all, with undying affection.
Here's my current canine:

I have a little story:
I had a friend in high school. We use to hang at his house after school listening to loud music because his parents were at work.
I asked to use the bathroom one day. He said. " It's down the hall. Enter the bedroom and the restroom is to the left" As I walked down the hall I could hear my friend snickering behind me.
When I reached the door I entered the very dimly lit room and walked several paces within before hearing a long drawn-out hiss. I turned to behold a full grown Ocelot (his mom kept as a pet)--- and very pissed I had stumbled into his territory. My friend knew he was securely tethered by a chain just long enough not to reach that side of the room.
I stopped and without turning, inched backwards in reverse to the door. Of course my buddy was rolling in the hallway in a fit of sadistic laughter as he beheld my ghostly pale face.

Ocelots look like this:

Craig's List: Free to good home.

My girlfriend doesn't like my dog, so I appeal to you.
She is a purebred from a wealthy area and I have had her 4 years. She likes to play games. Not totally trained. Has long hair so she's a little high maintenance, especially the nails, but she loves having them done. Stays up all night yapping but sleeps while I work. Only eats the best, most expensive food. Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you're down. Does not bite but she can be mean as hell!

So........anyone interested in my 30 year old, selfish, wicked, gold-digging girlfriend? Come and get her! Me and my dog want her re-homed!!

That look is precious.

My girl gives me that look if I phrase anything in the form of a question. I just love dogs, yup more than people. Ok I like them more than people and love the equally.

The cat to the rescue video is awesome but suspect, WTH about the camera and the dog coming around the car, if you were filming wouldn't you jump into the action? Can't help but think the aftermath scene of stitches etc. is superimposed. Bottom line we all like hero's!!! I hope to stand pleasantly corrected, but I call cat scat.

Looked like it to me. The cutting from one side of the car to the next was probably the editing from one camera to another...
