Overnight we went from mid fifties and no snow to 27 degrees, six inches, and still falling. The pups are loving it.

Somebody dumped this hound in the desert. I already have 3 dogs...
But the kid likes her...
So does Lewis, the 11 year old epileptic German Shorthair
Guess we got another dog.

One year ago today, this little girl(13 yrs, 1 wk) died in my arms.
Edited: thanks, Apogee, and Weezy.
Susan, I will never forget her.
I will get another dog one day.
Anita, I hope they catch the bastard who did that. F*#ker!
Your dogs are sweet.

That's brutal, 10b. That kind of stuff never leaves you.
Still, no doubt you are both better for the time you were together.

10b, that's the best way for a pooch to move on. my dog sadie got hit by a car and i tried to carry her home but she died in my arms, too. it's sad but it's nice when you can be with them while they go. i have friends who just found their dog dead in the street after they went missing. i think that would bother me more than being able to hold them. don't cry cuz it's over be glad that it happened, n all that. :)

Oh man 10b, those are eyes that could rip your heart out. So sad. I'm glad she had a full and long life…but never long enough, eh?

My Mom and Dad had a Corgi and a Samoyed at the same time.
It was hard to tell which one loved deep snow more. Corgi would plow a ditch, Samoyed would bound.
Although late at night, on the icy ground at 10 deg F, the Corgi would finally come in from the backyard. The Samoyed would just fold his paws over his nose and look at you. Almost had to drag him in.
Morgan and Timber, great pals.

This little dog was found on our streets with her nose, ears and tail cut off. We need to fix her so she can breathe correctly. Please tell all your friends and help Fiona Animal Refuge www.potreropups.org. Hopefully PETA will get involved and our local police are helping.
This is a VERY sick person in our town.
Tough start for 2014.

Why the pantyhosed Samoyed? Poor thing. How humiliating!
(seriously, dogs know when they're disfigured and are pretty sensitive about it)
Poor little abused pup. Prison won't be bad enough for that perp!

Speelyei---Unbelievable how much that Bluetick looks like my ol' Bluetick!!! Foster had to be put to sleep 2 years ago tho. :-( Those dogs are the best climbing dogs I've ever had. Sooo agile. Major roamers too tho. Had mine for fourteen years. Have fun and wear earplugs!!! :-)
