And to all the good dogs we've lost this year,
and the new friends that entered our lives,
and the new dogs to this thread,
peace be with you!
To drljefe and Rosebud, +1

And I meant it.
Ap and chiloe, my heart broke with you and I'm so glad you still have dogs with you.
10b, I think when you move a furry friend will find you.
In regards to leggs' post about "Alma Goose"...
Do you have nicknames for your dogs? I'm sure you do but maybe not as esoteric as that one(of many) of Rosebud's.
I've always called her my goose.
Oh, mah goose!
There's this NBC news reporter guy named
Miguel Almaguer.

We're weird but not as weird as those haters on the "no dogs at the crag" thread say we are!

Repost from the Secret Santa thread. Miss Penny Underfoot poses for the paparazzi in front of her likeness in a Neebee original painting.
Happy holidays to all the great pet owners in this thread and their pups past, present, and future who enrich our lives.

Philo, it's that time of year, we need a dog fashion show. At 4 degrees with wind & snow, our pup was happy to wear her coat today.

Does anyone else have dogs who are trained to know a climbing signal or two?
Mine all know "SLACK", which to them means ease up on the damn leash.
And when I holler "ROCK", they all scatter, because sometimes I don't need to have three hundred-pound mutts right under my feet.
