She is a rescued dog I've been working with for a year and a half. Had some initial issues with her, but she's become a good little working dog. We entered our first open field trial this past October and did quite well in the started dog category. I love her! Love your photo...my girl also loves to chase the ball, or a stick, or, really, anything.

My baby bro (Alva in the credits) spotted this guy hanging around their shop and arranged an intervention that included a stunt chicken.

Took our old buddy to the hills today, one more time. He ran along the trail with this huge grin on his face.

Snack time.

Chiloe are those snow booties for paws?
I have been thinking of getting a set for Goldie but wondered how they worked for traction if the claws are covered?

Lost and found (it's a chunk of ear). Yep, ferocious pibble got attacked by a little sh#t dog that ripped her ear off. The owner apologized, and then gave his dog free rein of the house as a reward. Some people should not own dogs.

Oh, no...no. Tyson?
Sh#t,
One hellva dog ... a gentle giant.

I remember when we first met, he greeted me with such enthusiasm he knocked my nose ring "off".

Rosie's gonna miss her friend and crag partner too...

The dog booties are a necessity for Jack, whose feet otherwise ice up. Our other dogs haven't had that problem. Jack does occasionally miss the traction of claws, but in cold snow that's not critical. We carry a few extra on any hike, because they sometimes go missing.

Sorry to hear about Tyson. If he was who I think, I met him in Cochise Stronghold in 2010. Had his own sleeping bag. One good looking guy.
