Met some awesome local old dudes and we caught a ton of fish (Spanish Mackerel, Blue Fish, Silver Trout, Croakers, and Pin Fish), and shot the sh#t for hours on end. Some awesome people for sure. As we chatted I turned and saw an amazing sunset and thought about this thread.
That's Skip in the photo on the right who asked seconds before I finished, "I am not going to be in that photo am I?" lol. I said he said yes and he said he was just busting my balls.
Can you tell that I shoot this SAME scene ALL the time and it's a LITTLE dissatisfying because you all live in DIFFERENT places that appear to be much MORE APPETIZING than my mundane existence under the GOLDEN ARCHES and living in a city.
If I were to move I'd just have to Find myself a city to live in.
Good points to all, bad points, too. They all got a set of arches, though. We just gotta live with it--it all works out.
Thank you Midder Mouse. But I can't really take credit...it's Hawaii...land of point and click with an SD card enough times you'll get good stuff. I am disappointed with my underwater shots. Not good at all. My little optio just isn't really an underwater camera except that it will go down with me. I may have to rent one cuz I've been seeing some spectacular underwater marine plants and animals.
This might look staged, but in a way it wasn't. After packing up the gear, I started down the trail and there was Ceci was sitting in this tree just as the sun was disappearing. "Hold on!" I said as I whipped off the pack to get out the camera. Here┤s how it turned out:
