Been working on this photo project where I attempt to capture the leaf mid-air between tree and ground. It gets Zen-like very fast. Like nailing a hummingbird with a pea-shooter. Only a few decent shots per 4 gig memory card. Anyway, here's a few tries from the Red River Gorge a few days back.

For most of the fall I was preoccupied with moving and my new job, but I managed to get out and snap a few this year....

Ensonik, that cathedral photo is really nice. do you have any where the morning mist has moved out?

the fall colors may be fading in new england, but this warm fall weather may be with us for a few more days...

This is Dec 2008... This year colors won't be so spectacular as we have had 20" more rain than the average year!

I see great shots, great ideas, great places.

Bare branches, though? Not so many locally.

There are colors left, subdued and waterproof.

Inside it is different.

The ornamentals still shine bright but are lying low.

Fall colors around my house have turned monochrome: brown leaves on the ground.

I actually got sick of NH colors ! Same f*#king thing all the time. Now I see Aspens and feel the same way ! Maybe the best bet is pines.

No, I moved on to Whitehorse right after. We were just driving around waiting for the slab to dry out before starting up.

Last week on the Denali Highway and in and around Denali National Park.
And one of the "Great One" just because it was out in all its glory for the entire ten days I was in the area.
