I think some climbers don't realize just how unnerving even a 5.8 might be in the Needles of SD. 5.9 and above without those bolts can be a test of one's climber's mind. Pete Cleveland could stay pretty damn calm!

Those are likely the (very nearly) same mountains that other youth commune with in the present. Although they may be curious about what 60 years older is like. Hope you get to meet yourself again out there, and tell yourself a thing or two.
