Anders has been doing a great job in helping Ken organize this years event:

On top of all that it would appear we are very likely to have Sushi available on the 25th of september. If anyone is interested I need to hear from you sooner than later.

Shoot me an email at nature _at_ sushibynature (dot) com if you are interested.

If the group wants to just do the minimum ingredients thing (shrimp/eel) we can go $20-$25/head. For $30/head I'd be able to bring in some fresh Yellowtail or perhaps Big Eye or hamachi.

I figure I need a minimum to make this all happen. Right now I have about 9 confirmed. A second sushi chef has stepped up to the bar so the cap to this will float at around 35-40 people.

#46 might mistake him as a potential breeding partner.

Once I have the required amount of people (20) I'll leave it up to the list to decide. About 10 folks have responded and just about every last one of them has requested that I go big (eye).

I certainaly will offer a refund (I did with the last two SushiFests). But at this rate it really does seem like it will happen. As the event is two months away I wasn't going to start requesting funds until a month or so out (or after I get the 20 required). You can also get a refund if you pull out but you need to tell me within 10 days of the event.

Planning now, I could do either or both, weekends. Let's just say both.
What Nita said, I always hate to miss wide wednesday, but this would make it worth it. Havn't hardly broken in the golden eagle I bought the day my clutch died!

Sorry about the day. Tuesday was the only day that I could get the whole campground(definitely a bonus) and is the only evening that I hadn't already made plans. Wednesday night Tom Frost will be showing Sentinel, The West Face. Thursday I will be showing King Lines starring Chris Sharma as part of the Reel Rock Film Tour. Friday night Tim O'Neil will be doing a presentation. Saturday night Tommy Caldwell will be doing a slide show and then I am off to El Portal for the last half of the Oktoberfest. Sunday night is free food, free beer and wine, raffle, and live music. Monday I am resting after cleaning the East Auditorium.

I think we need Ouch to pick up the slack for Conan Obrian and show us what the offspring of PMB and 46 would look like.

I might be able to be there the weekend before. Definitely not the weekend after (got a wedding to attend in Long Beach). I'll be putting in for the vacation next week. 25th will be good for me if I get the time off.

Brutus... that would be sweet if you can make it. That'd make three rollers. Either we won't have much to do or once the rest of the crew catches wind of our raw fish (that didn't sound right) we'll have a good fest going.

Thank Mighty Hiker and Nature. They are doing all the work. All I had to do was get a campground.

No way you're ducking credit that easy, Ken! None of it would happen without you!
