When Charlie Fowler and I did Vector (and also when we did Left Wall of Cenotaph Corner), it was raining. That was how it was, on the first ascents of many of Brown's climbs (or Whillans'). The light green moss becomes slippery and a bit deadly on Vector, making very steep but otherwise relatively straightforward climbing a much keener experience. That was a very impressive climb for the day it was done.
