As is true of everyone I've been thinking of Bobby and family ever since first getting the news of the accident from Steve Bechtel. Also spreading the word to old friends who all went to school here in Laramie with Bobby. Just wanted to write to let family know that lots of people who they may not have heard from directly are thinking of them. Best, Ken Driese.

THE LATEST INFORMATION FROM BOBBY'S SISTER, FAITH:
Dearest friends and family,
This is Faith writing. I don't know that there are words to express how your
love, support, thoughts, prayers and warmth have been gently carrying us
through this time of deep pain and confusion. I'm at a loss for words other
than to tell you that my brother is surrounded by your love and prayers and
hope--it permeates every inch of the ICU and I find the nurses and doctors
are also struck by the constant stream of loving support that surrounds my
brother. You are all an extraordinary gift to Bobby and to us all. But I
know especially that Bobby is deeply deeply touched by your loving words,
warm thoughts and most of all sincere hope.
There is not much news today. Little changes here and there and he has a
chest infection, but they will change his antibiotics. We will keep you
updated, of course.
I'm sorry we haven't been able to answer messages personally, but know that
we are ever grateful and that Bobby is receiving everything.
We are all sending love and thanks,

One more thing: I just want to say that everyday we witness small and
wonderful miracles. We've had strangers who have read about Bobby in the
newspaper travel far distances to the hospital with tears in their eyes just
to see if we were okay and needed any assistance.

Bobby was one of the first real climbers I met growing up in Cody. He was about 4-5 years older than I and I looked up to him greatly at the time, partly because I was shocked that any of the real climbers would give a teenage noob the time of day, and of course he was already an excellent climber back then. I've enjoyed keeping tabs on his accomplishments over the years and am very saddened to hear of this tragedy.
My humble prayers for the best go out to Bobby, Faith and the rest of the Models.

We were totaly devastated upon hearing about Bobby's accident. Not only having been a neighbor watching Bobby and Faith grow up, but also having our son work for Bobby, we have kept up with his activities over the years. Bobby has been a mentor for Loren and I know they still communicate. Our thoughts are with all of you and we pray for a full recovery.

I just wanted to say that myself and my family are all praying for bobby. Sometimes life really stinks how bad things happen to good people, but all we can do is pray for bobby and hope for a speedy recovery. He is one of the most resilient people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I have no doubt that if anyone can persevere through an accident like this one it is bobby. To Bob, Anne, and Faith my prayers are with all of you and if there is anything I or my family can do to help you through this time please let me know.
