my guess is you're fine - as long as it conforms to the size regulations for carry ons.

maybe you should be a total wild woman on this trip, and try...

doing yoga WITHOUT a mat. I know, it is a Radical idea, and I wouldn't want to be a Tahoe climber who is caughtinside San Diego trying to do yoga WITHOUT a mat.

The true devotee needs no mat. But if you must bring a mat on a plane, make sure it is filled with SNAKES !

bare rock works well if you can find a flat spot
so does a sleeping pad like a ridge rest if you're camping

hi tahoe climber! i agree on bare rock. s'my friend. so yea, i'm goin adventuring... will tell you later :)

dmalloy, very hip and sassy! u know how little kids have their blankets they carry around w/them? i'm like that w/my yoga mat :)

plus it's a good picnic blanket for sandy shores. and sleeping mat too :) and somethin' to lean your head on when you're sitting against a wall :) and you can use it to keep your feet from sliding away when you're doing balance ball crunchies. and and and... they are so multi purpose it's not even funny :)

yes i know i can't bring my balance ball on the aero plane :)

Only hippie liberal anarchist Saddam-loving terrorist sympathizers do yoga, so I would leave it at home if you want to stay out of trouble. Hey, if you aren't doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to worry about, right?

Just don't try paying for your ticket with $2 bills...
