The Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) operates outstanding bookstores, cooperates with our public land management partners to operate successful visitor centers, and provides high quality interpretive programs, exhibits, and publications throughout the Eastern Sierra. We do all this to educate and inspire people about this region, to encourage them to get to know the area better, and to enable everyone to be effective stewards of these resources. ESIA is hiring seasonal part-time bookstore sales associates for the summer 2019 season for the following locations:

Eastern Sierra Interagency Visitor Center - Lone Pine, CA
Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center – Mammoth Lakes, CA
Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center – Lee Vining, CA
Schulman Grove Visitor Center – Bristlecone Pine Forest, CA
U.S. Forest Service Office - Bridgeport, CA
U.S. Forest Service Office - Carson City, NV

Sales associate responsibilities include cash register operations, daily stocking, opening and closing the store, and providing visitor information. The ideal candidate has retail experience and a passion for the Eastern Sierra.

Toss that SoCal BS away. You can be foot-loose and fancy-free romping in the bristlecones and living the dirt-bag dream for the summer :)

Edit to add: - evidently they have staffed Mammoth and Mono/Lee Vining. Still looking for staff for the other locations.
