Nahoo says "Goodbye" to the remainder of ST in his last post. I have always been curious why he is placing a black triangle on his photos and never used a capital letters in his posts. He made ST better.

Roy...you too should share some lore on Lauria’s thread. First person stories are always so much better!
Peace

Thanks for the compliment, Ron.
But that to me looks like Don's thread, and an excellent place to see what he's put together.

Has he asked for others to contribute? Not even sure I'd be comfortable doing so. Seems it might dilute his offering. I may be off base, though.

Also, as much as I'd like to see this forum survive, due to the unsatisfactory way it is managed, I'm not trusting this place with my content generation efforts any longer, save for a little bit of jazz and maybe some car stuff. I'm going to spend my efforts archiving what's already here, before it is gone altogether.

And beyond that, I need an editor, and likewise need to move on to print media in order to acquire an editor, or at least online media that is more formally organized and edited.
My tenure as a productive influence on Supertopo is pretty much done, and not solely due to recent events and trends, though it has to be said that is part of it.

You have some good points Roy, I know your knowledge base and your ability to tell a good story, seems that climbing is in dire need of a solid place to log the history from those that experienced it first hand. Think of those guys and girls that are no longer here to retell...I almost have a “survivors remorse” for not recording Bridwell and Bachar’s stuff, I feel ashamed I spent so much time listening and now it’s gone.

Nahoo unambiguously made this site better and is someone for whom I have the ultimate respect. Once again, this forum faces a loss.

In addition to his own interesting material, he also took the time to index most of my historical posting on the ST. I use it often to stoke the conversation around the ST campfire.
