I would just like you all to know, I am not going anywhere.

I just believe this may all be near the end,despite rumors.

I was once one of the beginning members of Ski the East ,a regional forum in the nineties.

I had considerable content,trip reports ,beta and photos ,all lost in one weekend before y2k. No forewarning and bam, gone like a shot.

Another forum,MTBR ,deleted all my content,over the fact ,they said was “infrequent use”.

Bam,all gone. Lots of tech ,trail beta and pics.

Both these incidents happened before I learned to back things up.

MTBR is still around,but lost a lot of key participants over the same reason.

So ,when I say take care folks , I mean it,this has been a special place,but, I believe it will be gone ,like

Bam.

And ,thank you all kindly.

Everyone has a cell phone and an email address don't they? I know the site itself is The Great Archive but the people make the campfire, time to return from the virtual. Maybe Chris will host a yearly reunion.
