I think you can build with ungraded lumber here
Lots of people running there own operations
Plus one of the biggest lumber mills in Washington is in this town
24/7 running punching out 2x4 and laminate

I only need very small footprint (so lumber cost itself isn't the issue).
Were you able to run electricity and phone line to your site?
I know in some places in Missouri, where codes are lax or none, electric company required a dwelling with large minimum square footage to hook up, so people couldn't hook up even though their setup was OK from county standpoint.
And were you able to get a mailbox with your lot address - and use this address for DMV?
