Hilarious, Jebus. The art and mostly naked hot chicks are cool. The crowds, dust, et al. are not my thing these days, but I can see the appeal. What is scary here on the East Side is the astonishing traffic when zillions of Burners head to back to SoCal. 395 literally grinds down to stop-and-go in places. We made the mistake one year of heading in the same direction after the festival. Ugh.

Back in 2010, a few days after Burning Man, a friend and I were mtn biking White Mtn. peak. We came across two vans festooned with decorations parked along side the road. There were people dancing on top of the vans. We figured out they were burners. One of them asked us if we wanted to party, and my buddy responded that he'd rather be mtn. biking. The burners seemed confused.

I think a lot of them are just naturally confused.
BM is a great party but 1 week a year is enough

At least DMT is consistent. Yall proclaim to love the great outdoors and fresh air and solitude while knocking ranchers and miners. How is BM not exploiting the same and hugely polluting?

I've been maybe 10 times now. What makes it for me is having a fun project and a camp full of old friends and the time to just hang out.
