The way back machine is very hit and miss in that regard. It seems for me trying another snapshot sometimes works.
However, as nah000 noted, a "Show All" and seeking to the "Last" page is a request to the server to generate a unique output and won't work, so best case it seems you're left going page by page.

JLP,
I've been experiencing somewhat mixed results with going from page to page or navigating to show all in the Way Back Machine.
Some captures only have the first page, while others will let you pick all of them up.
I've wondered if that relates to whether or not someone entered it in show all mode.
I've tried various permutations of entries to get into pages. For instance, I think I found one page not by entering the first page into the Way Back search window, but by entering the last page as it currently exists on the forum. And from there I was able to get all of them, or show all.
Another thing I've tried is searching the first page with the full title spelled out in text, and conversely searching the first page where it shows up without naming the page, just the identifying script. This can vary depending on how you search individual Supertopo threads.
For instance: often searching a thread, if you look at the URL you get for the first page, it doesn't spell out the title of the thread. But if you go forward one page, and then go back to the first page, the URL includes the title.
For the most part, Way Back Machine seems very weak on photos.

Way Back Machine seems very weak on photos. Yeah, good info. I can't imagine a robust set of code capable of going into the range of well written to poorly written websites of all languages and eras of time - and working well. So it is.

Google cache is the alternative.
Just this morning I found something there that wasn't in Way Back Machine.

Tar,
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed our visits and hikes in 2017 before I moved to NM. Hope all is well with you these days. Perhaps we can get together for another visit sometime when I am back up north.
cheers

I sure hope so, Bob!
You know how to find me: as a stalwart house cat, I never range far from the litter box and not for long!

I found a bug - and I do not know Java - but I'm a programmer on occasion.
Object method "currentLink.remove()" in the original js appears to get hung up and possibly remove the wrong link, sometimes leaving a picture unloaded.
I did the following no-talent hack and fixed this by simply removing the text attribute instead with "currentLink.text = ""
Try this. Maybe a for-real Java person can do better.
... and the Chrome plugin repeated, for reference.

The OCD in me is annoyed by those brackets remaining. Any takers?
