With age, alcohol appreciation widens, and so do hedonistic possibilities. Amnesia becomes more acceptable, and a bloated liver aint that bad afterall, so long as the harness still fits. Willy had his head on when he said: "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker" So. . .empty a fifth and remain calm. . .its Saturday night!

Long Island Iced Teas.......Poor form I know, but I'm feeling weak tonight!

Wondering whether I should splash out for a bottle of the good stuff - Johnnie Walker Blue, for the upcoming 5th Annual 'DaksFest Ice weekend. My only reservation is that there are several other whisky drinkers scheduled to go who would descend on a bottle of Blue like vampires on a fresh neck.........

My feeling is, always splurge. They may drink most of your stuff, but you will get the credit. Maybe. If they can remember who they got it from. Nothing like whiskey slushies, eh?

well, I do owe a few people for yaking up all over an amp at DF3.0........

Not one of my finer moments. Come to think of it though, ice climbing and me making a drunken ass of myself seems to have been a recurring theme........

I know Laphroig. That guy sent Panic in Detroit with bedroom slipers, blindfolded. Shitty drunk too. Go figure.

Laphroaig............fond memories of my grandfather giving me little sips of it when I was a wee child. Of course it nearly killed me, but I had to pretend to like it!

These days, I find it a bit too medicinal for my tastes......but I have time to mature into it I guess, if thats the way I go

C/Jones-
Revolting Cocks. Theives & liars. Nonalum tourists will always roll their eyes and giggle politely in the harsh tedium. Professional reflexive gagging is a skill that every climber should hone, puke bucket in photo-clasic style, remember Paris Trout and Al Jorgenson.

TR, Thieves and Liars live was super sick. The Revolting Cocks were rad too. Puke buckets though? Why not just ralph down on the belayer? Ah, the joys of leading. Reflexive gagging is a skill that I was just born with. Call me gifted.

Be careful with that "dang-a-long-ling-long". It is only good for so much. You might go blind you know.

HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Diane Koken today reminded Pennsylvanians who are planning Super Bowl parties of the need to be responsible hosts when serving alcohol to their guests.

“No matter the occasion, the best hosts are those who make certain their guests are able to drive home safely and sober,” said Koken.

Statistically, Super Bowl Sunday is one of the most dangerous days to drive due to the number of drivers who have been drinking prior to getting behind the wheel. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 51 percent of all traffic fatalities during the 2004 Super Bowl weekend were a result of impaired drivers with blood alcohol levels of at least .08 or higher.

Auto accidents where injuries or fatalities occur are always tragic for those involved, but many party hosts fail to consider their potential liability in such a circumstance.

“If you, as a homeowner, are planning to serve alcoholic beverages to your guests, remember that you can be held liable for any harm done by those who leave your home in an intoxicated condition,” said Koken. “If you are sued, a standard homeowners policy will provide you with some liability coverage, which will help pay for attorney's fees and any judgments against you, but only up to the limit defined in your policy.”

Some consumers choose to purchase an extra layer of protection called a personal umbrella liability policy, which takes effect when a renters, condo, homeowners or auto policy reaches its limit of underlying liability coverage.

i like the upturn in ministry refrences that the forum has recieved lately.

i've been a privledged individual as every tour in the last 13 years or so i've managed to see them play in both detoit and chicago.

also managed to hang out with al's daughter a couple of times down in austin. its rather amazing how not screwed up she turned out to be.

Thats cool Euroford. I saw Ministry last year in Sacramento, what a helluva show. Despite his moronic flag burning, that was shouted down by the crowd, believe it or not.
