I am curious how many people still remember a vicious attack on Nick Sandmann from Covington Catholic High School.
It was led by progressive Twitter, NYT, WaPo, MSN, Yahoo, PBS etc.
Facebook played only a minor role.
Facebook is not a problem.
Participation in such attacks for the sake of virtue signalling is a problem.

After participating on FaceBook today, & then reading the above headline & posts in this thread, I suppose if I was a gud person, I would now get drunk or stoned & cry myself to sleep, then wake up hungover & sad for the state of the world.
Happily, other than correcting the occasional poster on FB, I don't give a schist.
