I seem to remember that John Stannard had built a replica of Foops which he trained on before doing it. Also, he was gracious enough to allow other climbers to train on it.

Wolfgang Güllich trained on what is now known as a campus board for Action Directe
locally, Zander had a famous replica of The Narrows on Steck-Salathé formerly at Zanderland,
and Gary's offwidth was adjustable, we first set it to the Sacherer Cracker offwidth size.
didn't John Gill also train for The Thimble on a "machine"

There is a very good natural replica of the Narrows just west of Swan Slab. Once both legs are up, you have to climb down. The chimney above is closed off.
