Good Question...

Our LR w/couch is a weird shape so I have to swivel my head a bit. And, I can relate to all the knickknack shite too couchdude.

Not too exciting out those sliding doors unless you squint really hard. Then you can see Nanda Devi over the tree tops :-)

Well, Fritz....it's supposed to be a thread about the view out of your window...
Was she outside of your window?
There seems to be plenty of political threads here to post your political news...
And some of us open these "non political" threads because we don't want to hear about politics....

Fine.

I yield to the old, white male pundits.

All my mention of the articulate Idaho Native American woman: Paulette Jordan, who is a politician, is removed.

Are you happy now?

Are you happy now?

I’m beyond happy about the removal of multiple irrelevant photos and commentary that had nothing whatsoever to do with the title of this thread.

So far, Fet for the win: I'm thinking that is from the Jimmy Stewart movie, Rear Window?
Wouldn't mind seeing Delhi D's Nanda Devi view ...

Just thought I'd clear up a couple of things here.

Yeah, Wallye wants us to think he's an audiophile and stuff, with this finely crafted but somewhat deceptive offering:

... but perception is decidedly not reality.
Our spies reveal, from a discretely embedded position behind Walter's couch, this, to be the true shape of things over at Chez Walleye:

And speaking of perception, given that Fritz is all about the view from the couch,
We got all curious and stuff, and decided to see what the outside condition of Fritz and Heidi's little hideaway there at Choss Creek really looks like,

So we loaded up the spy cam …

… And by the crack of noon we rolled the mothballed Hughes XF-11 out from the 'ole tin shed and headed out Idaho-way for a look see.

Just a second, please, I'm having trouble with the confabulater's throw out bearing ...

It's all quite puzzling ...

Okay ... as it turns out, them two honeymooners have been holding out, because, as you see below, what we've uncovered is that ...

Choss Creek ain't so chossy after all:

Click the photo to make it big for full effect, after all, the tale is larger-than-life!

My my Tar! Thank you for the fine photos of our ranchette, even if the Idaho reality is somewhat less magical.

It still ain't bad, for Choss Creek.

Tar! Per your question:
Who are those stoned dudes?

The Inukshuks!

Inspired by one in the Royal BC museum in Victoria, that impressed me in the early 1970's, I shared in the construction of one during a 1976 visit to Mt. Deborah & nearby mountains.

When Heidi & I moved here in 1991, we had lots of nice basalt & a small cliff for a stage. Although I confess to having zero inclination for art, I can stack stones, & over the next 3 years I built the inukshuks, which except for a dowel that holds the cat tail erect on windy days, are all free-standing.

I don't much watch TV so no set place there, but my backyard has this view. Pretty much same view I get out the bedroom window too.
