Check this classic film out of skiing at the old Edelweiss ski area at Camp Sacramento. The lodge was on the North side of the Highway under Mt. Ralston. The chair and rope tows were on the South side. The film includes a tour over to and under Lovers Leap. A different era, thanks Ney for the link.

n the final scene the happy skiers are sitting really close to a really big fire. No way they stayed there after the camera was off.

The "Red Hornets" are really cool. I want a jacket.

I learned to ski on a rope tow like that, at Big Bear--now called something else.

Does that make me old?
