I know it's a long shot, but wondering if anyone has poles for this tent.

I've the body and fly. Both are in great condition and hate to buy a replacement tent. Called Marmot; they no longer have replacements.

If you have a Sanctum but don't want to part with the poles, can you give me details on the poles so I can have a custom set made?

Thanks another. Tried to contact them with no response. Marmot refered me to them, so will keep after it.

I've made my own poles from Quest Outfitters. They have both carbon fiber and easton. Super easy to make pole sections.

Problem is I lost the poles, so have no clue as to dimensions and which bits are have pre-formed curves.

Sad, so much for customer satisfaction or care. That shows how much Marmot has lost its roots.

That was my thinking. Don't remember when I bought it or when it was discontinued, but was surprised they didn't have replacement parts. It's a great tent.

BITD, when I worked at Sunrise Mountaineering in Livermore, if ya merely sent-in a great tale and the item for repair, the companies then would TCB, even to the point of even just giving-out a brand new item gratis for supporting them in the great outdoors (after, as well for the ‘free’ publicity). It seems now you just deal with ‘know-nothings’ sitting in a cubicle somewhere.

Just as a follow up, Tent Pole Technologies has come through. $158 plus shipping for a set of poles. Good customer service. Thumbs up to these guys.

John, am curious if they knew the pole dimensions you needed?

We'll see. Haven't received the poles yet. They told me they have the dimensions from the original manufacturer. Sounds like they know what they are doing.

I'll post back up once I receive them and have a chance to see if the poles work. Right now I'm pretty confident they have it dialed.

Those folks at Tent Pole Technologies nailed it. Poles are in spec, quality materials. Got the replacement poles today and set the tent up.

Seems these folks have specs for a lot of tents. Good work folks at TTT!

QuoteBut mostly those tents just aren't worth it compared with Megamid-type designs that for most purposes are equal or superior-- and for which replacement poles are cheap or unnecessary. Here

Too each their own. The sanctum is a solid tent and worth salvaging. It has seen many nights in the sierra. I'd hate to toss it in the trash just because I lost the poles.

Do you know these guys? Spouting about beemeers, you may or may not. The guy at TTT was an honest person. He delivered a quality product when he said he would for an agreed upon price. I don't give a ratz ass if he drives a Maserati. He delivered.

Megamids have a cult following but they aren't for everyone.
