I have a few other good pictures from the launch but haven't been able to upload from my phone.
I was really happy to see the launch. A magnificent human endeavor, launching vehicals out of our atmosphere. Eould love to take that flight.

The Air Force is fixing to launch a missile from Vandenberg (CA) in about 30 minutes.

Launch is set for 5:44pm Yosemite Valley Time.
This is a Delta 4 Heavy - one of the big mothers. Everybody in California should be able to see this one. Look west and up at about quarter to 6.

Wow, that was weird............
Went outside at about 5:34, 10 minutes ahead of the supposed launch, and bam, I saw what looked like a rocket contrail in the sky, to the west. Hmmm, guess I missed it and they launched early, I thought, and pretty far north to be from Vandenberg. Then I came back inside to find that the Vandenberg launch was scrubbed. WTF. I sat here quite puzzled until I just found this...

The National Weather Service in Eureka, California said on their Twitter that they believe it might have been a meteor.
If so, what a strange coincidence.

Since when do meteors produce contrails? Stoopid gullible sheeple. Clearly the Air Force
hoped that everyone’s eyes would be on the Vandenberg launch so they could fly their latest
hyper-sonic toy.

Well, Chaz, if it appeared above and beyond Mt Baldy from yer ranchito then my previous
assertion of an Air Force secret proj is strengthened as that would put it in Edwards’ air space
which is often utilized by the good people at Groom Lake, aka Area 51.
